Working with the customer to provide a solution to bring water to Broken Hill
Project Overview
Iplex’s experienced team were able to provide a solution for a customer in assisting to help drought proof Broken Hill in NSW.
After evaluating the proposed pumping system requirements, the team subsequently recommended a lower pressure option which was technically suitable. The client accepted and changed the design to suit.
The first 10km of the DN630 PN10 POLIplex® PE100 pipeline delivered raw water from the Murray River at Wentworth to Broken Hill.
The team provided a dedicated internal project management to co-ordinate the day to day supply of the pipes and the fabricated fittings (DN630 bends, junction and extended stubs and tees).
