FIBERSTRONG® GRP Pipe & Fittings
Fiberstrong® is a glass reinforced polymer pipe suitable for pressure and non-pressure buried and above ground applications. Fiberstrong® pipes and fittings are recognised for their strength, flexibility and corrosion resistance making them ideal for water, sewer and drainage.
Using the technology developed by Future Pipe Industries, a very dense laminate is created that maximises the contribution from three basic materials, namely glass fibre, silica sand and thermosetting resins, polyester or vinylester. Pipes are manufactured using a continuous advancing mandrel process, which is efficient and cost effective.

Advantages
Fiberstrong™ pipes and fittings provide many features and benefits which have been recognised over many years:
Features | Benefits |
DURABILITY |
Manufactured with high strength and corrosion resistant materials, Fiberstrong™ provides years of corrosion free service. |
LIGHT WEIGHT PIPES |
Fiberstrong™ pipes and fittings are lightweight compared with other conventional materials, reducing transportation and installation costs. |
HYDRAULICALLY SUPERIOR |
The smooth inner bore of Fiberstrong™ pipes and fittings provides excellent hydraulic performance, reducing friction and operating costs. |
VERSATILITY |
Fiberstrong™ pipes and fittings can accommodate a variety of assembly options and complex configurations due to the nature of Fiberstrong™ pipes and availability of standard and made to order fittings. |
ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
|
Low energy is required for the production of GRP composite pipes. The smooth internal pipe surfaces also reduce the energy and running costs required in pumped rising mains. |
CORROSION RESISTANCE |
GRP composites are resistant in corrosive environments such as acid sulphate soils, saline groundwaters and gravity sewer mains. |
